Tadastic ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our daily accomplishment tracking service.

Account Information

  • Email address (required for account creation and login)
  • Timezone (to send reminders at the correct local time)
  • Phone number (optional, only if you enable SMS reminders)
  • Reminder preferences (none, email, or SMS)

Usage Data

  • Your daily accomplishment entries
  • Dates when you log entries
  • SMS and email delivery logs (for service reliability)

SMS Reminder Opt-In Process

SMS reminders are completely optional. We only send SMS messages if you explicitly opt-in through one of these methods:

How to Opt-In

  1. During Onboarding: When you first create your account, you can choose "SMS reminders" from the reminder options and provide your phone number.
  2. In Settings: At any time, you can visit your settings page and select "SMS reminders" and enter your phone number.

By selecting SMS reminders and providing your phone number, you explicitly consent to receive:

  • One daily reminder message at 8:00 PM in your local timezone
  • Confirmation messages when you reply with your accomplishments

Message Frequency

You will receive a maximum of one reminder message per day at 8:00 PM in your selected timezone. If you reply to the message, you will receive a confirmation.

How to Opt-Out

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by:

  1. Reply "STOP": Reply to any SMS message with the word "STOP" and you will immediately stop receiving messages.
  2. Update Settings: Log in to your settings page and change your reminder preference to "No reminders" or "Email reminders".

Message and data rates may apply. Standard SMS rates from your mobile carrier will apply.

Email Reminder Opt-In Process

Similar to SMS, email reminders are optional. You can select "Email reminders" during onboarding or in your settings. Email reminders are sent to the email address you use to log in.

How to Opt-Out of Email Reminders

  • Change your reminder preference in settings
  • Click the unsubscribe link in any reminder email
  • Reply to any reminder email with "UNSUBSCRIBE"

How We Use Your Information

  • Email address: For account authentication, magic link login, and email reminders (if enabled)
  • Phone number: Only for SMS reminders (if you explicitly opt-in)
  • Timezone: To send reminders at the correct local time (8:00 PM)
  • Accomplishment entries: To display your personal calendar history
  • Delivery logs: To troubleshoot issues and ensure reliable message delivery

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in an encrypted database. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information. Phone numbers are stored in E.164 format and are only used for the purposes you explicitly consent to.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal information and accomplishment entries are permanently deleted from our systems.

Children's Privacy

Tadastic is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
